Adjusting Your Domain Settings - General Domain Registrars

Each domain is controlled and managed using what are referred to as DNS settings which can be accessed in the account where your domain is registered. These Advanced DNS settings will need to be adjusted in order for us to host your website. Please follow the instructions below. If you would like us to do this for you, please send us the login info to your domain account. This is by far the easiest way to ensure that your domain settings are set properly and is preferred by most of our clients.

After logging into your domain account, please adjust the following DNS settings. This section is commonly labeled as "Advanced DNS Settings".

Within your domain's "DNS Settings" section, add or adjust to the following values.

Type:
Host (Name):
Value (Address or Points to):
cName www yourdomainname.realestatedesigner.net
EXAMPLE
myrealtyexamplesite.realestatedesigner.net
A @ Forwarded or Redirect to full domain:
EXAMPLE
www.myrealtyexamplesite.com
TXT @ v=spf1 +a +mx +ip4:166.62.102.194 ?all

Important! Domain Forwarding (May also be labeled as Web Forwarding or Redirect)
If you do not have access to create a domain forward or redirect directly using the type "A" record shown above, certain domain registrars offer a dedicated section for this step. For example, GoDaddy has a section labeled as "Forwarding" under their domain DNS Management section.

In cases such as this, follow the logic below.

Your Domain Name (without www): Forwards or Redirects to Your Full Domain:
EXAMPLE
myrealtyexamplesite.com
EXAMPLE
http://www.myrealtyexamplesite.com
